Over many years of operating from our Farling Top Boilerworks in Cowling, West Yorkshire, we have undertaken all manner of boilerwork from the full turnkey installation of brand new boilerplant to the complete restoration of numerous Traction Engine, Steam Roller, Steam Tractor, Steam Boat and Vintage Shell Boilers.

We have worked for a multitude of customers ranging from breweries, hospitals and the MOD to industrial museums, railways and heritage organisations across the UK. From the initial enquiry to the final steam test, we provide a comprehensive service that allows clients to feel safe in the knowledge that their boiler will be returned to its former glory.

Our Services

Our industrial boiler services include boiler installation, repair, and servicing. We have many years' experience in the design, installation and commissioning of gas, oil, or biomass fired steam boilers. We also offer a complete range of boiler plant design services including boiler supply, installation, and commissioning. Our team of skilled engineers and boilermakers can also provide boiler servicing including annual preparation and NDT preparation, valve overhauls, and structural boiler repairs.

In addition to our industrial boiler services, we also offer heritage boiler services. This includes repairs and rebuilds of traction engines, locomotive boilers, and shell boilers. We also manufacture "vintage" fireboxes and undertake large presswork projects. We apply traditional boilermaking techniques to rebuild or repair all types and age of heritage steam boiler, often using techniques no longer widely practised.
