Meet the Team

Our Managing Director, Alan Jones, is passionate and knowledgeable about his work. He set up AJ Floorcraft in 1990 due to the economic downturn in the late 1980s. His commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction has been the ethos of the company ever since.

Alan's dedication to providing quality products and outstanding customer service led to the expansion of the company in 2009 into decorating, headed up by Mark Hurst. This expansion allowed us to offer a dual service approach and rename ourselves AJ Flooring & Coatings.

In 2019, we further expanded by acquiring Maurice Parker, a renowned Derby-based Kitchen, Bathroom & Tiling Company. This acquisition further cemented our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We rebranded just this year to become AJ Group Derby Ltd. Our departments consist of AJ Floorcraft, AJ Painting and Decorating, and AJ Bespoke Interiors.

Opening Times

We are open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 4:00pm, and on Saturdays from 9:30am to 1:30pm. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. If you need assistance outside of our opening hours, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are always here to help.
