At WK Design Architects, we are passionate about creating beautiful, functional, and energy-efficient spaces that meet the unique needs of our clients. Our directors, Carolyn Williamson and Paul Kitchin, have a combined experience of over 18 years in the architectural profession, and have worked together for over 9 years. We have a passion for light and space, and believe in the importance of listening to our clients to deliver successful projects.

Energy Efficiency

As you can see above, energy efficiency is at the forefront of our agenda. We have experience of delivering new build Passivhaus and low energy homes, and are committed to continuously improving our knowledge and detailing to deliver better quality construction on site in all of our projects. We believe that it is crucial to reduce energy consumption and fuel bills further on new builds and extensions with a 'fabric first' approach. We incorporate renewable energy technologies such as solar panels and heat pumps, and prioritise designing and detailing spaces with low space heating demand.
