Welcome to our online portfolio, showcasing our work as a small, passionate architects practice based in Bangor, Co. Down. Our commitment is to deliver a personal service aimed at providing a fresh and innovative approach to the design of buildings and their interiors.

Our practice, led by RIBA Chartered Architect David Wilson, has built a reputation for delivering high-standard design with a focus on minimising the stress clients experience during the building process. With over three decades of experience, David has worked on a wide range of projects including sports and leisure, industrial, retail, and domestic.

While comfortable working on commercial projects, the main focus of our practice centers around one-off private dwellings, extensions, and refurbishment. Our portfolio showcases a diverse range of architectural styles and projects, including beach houses, rural houses, box houses, coastal terraces, coastal refurbishments, SIP frame extensions, vernacular traditional designs, commercial projects, mountain and watersports centers, retail and leisure spaces, lighting showrooms, and workplaces.

Meet Our Team

Our team is led by David Wilson, a RIBA Chartered Architect with over three decades of experience. David has worked for two of the top Belfast Practices on RIBA award-winning projects before setting up his own practice in Bangor. He has created a reputation for delivering high-standard design with a personal service aimed at minimising the stress clients experience during the whole building process.

David attended the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art at Dundee University between 1981 and 1987. He was awarded the P.H. Thoms Memorial Prize in Architecture, the Dalgaty Dunn Scholarship in Architecture, and won the British Flat roofs National Design Competition for Centrepoint Soho. He completed his BArch with 1st Class Honours and was awarded The Arup Award in Architecture.

David has a passion for drawing and painting, which initiated his interest in Architecture. Much of the architecture is developed on the computer with CAD programmes, sketching is used at concept stage and to work out design problems. With this move away from paper, David has continued with painting and drawing, mainly places and people. It would be his aim to combine painting and architecture with "People in Places" and exhibit, he would also be open to commissions.
