With a passion for woodworking that dates back to his early childhood, our founder, George Johnson, has spent decades honing his craft to become one of the most skilled furniture makers in the country.

Our Story

Growing up in Oxford and Durham, George developed a keen interest in woodwork at an early age. His talent and dedication earned him a spot at the International Woodworking and Turning Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, where his work was featured at just 17 years old. After completing a first-class Master's degree in Physics, George realized that his true passion lay in woodworking, and in 2005, he founded Johnson Furniture.

Veneer, in particular, offers a world of possibilities, allowing us to create stunning, intricate designs that would be impossible to achieve with solid wood alone. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation, George uses cutting-edge techniques to create furniture that is not only visually stunning but also technically impressive.

Pricing and Lead Time

As each piece of furniture is carefully crafted to order, pricing can vary depending on the choice of materials, design, and complexity of the piece. We're happy to provide a pricing guide for each piece on our website, but please note that the final cost may vary. Similarly, lead time can vary from 6-10 months, depending on the level of work required. We understand that patience is key in crafting truly exceptional furniture, and we're committed to delivering only the highest-quality pieces.

Delivery and Shipping

We're dedicated to ensuring that our furniture arrives safely and securely at your doorstep. For our expanding circular dining tables, we'll include delivery within England. For mainland Europe, the cost will be approximately 200-500, and internationally, it will be 500-1,000. These estimates are subject to change, and we'll work closely with you to ensure a smooth and hassle-free delivery experience.
