Ben Vernon Designs was established in 2014, stemming from the renowned and respected firm, David Holbrook & Associates. This enduring heritage in architectural expertise and a passion for creating spaces that enhance lives form the core of our identity. Prior to establishing Ben Vernon Designs, I had the privilege of contributing to David Holbrook & Associates for 10 years, a firm with a rich history spanning 30 years and encompassing the creation of approximately 27,000 drawings. This extensive experience has deeply ingrained in me the meticulousness and the creative vision that characterises exceptional architecture.

My architectural journey extends beyond theoretical knowledge and academic pursuits. Although my education began at the Manchester School of Architecture, I recognised the invaluable hands-on experience that working directly on construction projects could provide. This led me to participate in a variety of building projects, ranging from modest domestic extensions to large-scale, multi-million pound developments. This diverse range of projects has given me an intimate understanding of the practical realities of bringing architectural designs to life.

I believe this practical experience is crucial because it allows me to translate the theoretical aspects of design into tangible, workable solutions. It helps me understand the intricacies of construction, material choices, and the flow of spaces, ultimately resulting in designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functionally sound and practical.
