At Kay Pilsbury Thomas Architects, we are an award-winning, family practice of Chartered Architects and Interior Designers with a passion for historic buildings and the stories they tell. Our Expertise

Our team is led by Sibyl Thomas, an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC). We have an in-depth knowledge of historic buildings of all periods, understanding how they have evolved over the centuries and why they are important. This helps us find solutions around altering or extending the building without compromising on what makes it so significant. We have a network of traditional building contractors and specialist craftsmen capable of delivering results to a very high standard.

We work on projects in Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire. Our close relationships with the Local Authority and Listed Building/Conservation Officers help us understand what they are likely to accept and approve.
