A10 Timber Co is a family-owned and operated business that has been successfully supplying timber and sheet materials to the local building industry for over 45 years. Our commitment to excellent service and high-quality stock has enabled us to grow and diversify into other areas while constantly improving and expanding our core business.
Originally founded 45 years ago, the company began as L A Packing. Primarily serving what was the UK's booming export market at the time, L A Packing manufactured wooden crates and pallets in bulk quantities to all over the UK. As the business grew over the years, the yard increased in size to accommodate the masses of timber required. It was a natural move to begin selling timber to the trade and eventually A10 Timber was founded as a sister company to L A Packing.
Today, A10 Timber Co is a prominent player in the timber industry, boasting a 5-acre site in Barwick, just north of Ware on the A10. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and high-quality products to our customers, whatever the size of their project. We pride ourselves on our customer service and at the forefront of this is our renowned delivery service.

- Delivery: We pride ourselves on our customer service and at the forefront of this is our renowned delivery service. By keeping our stock levels high and having a varied fleet of vehicles, we are able to offer next-day delivery and in some cases, same-day delivery.
- Machining: We have a range of machinery on site to cater for our cutting requirements, including a panel saw, two band saws, manual and automated cross-cutting machines, and a casadei thicknesser. This allows us to cut a variety of materials to length, width, or at angles if necessary.
